I'm sure you all love my bathroom selfies... and my work bathroom. shh. But seriously, it's the only time #1 I'm dressed (sweats don't count) and #2 it's really the only time I think of documenting my growing belly bump.
We've been super busy lately... we're in the process of packing up our whole house to go down to Vegas... only we're not going to Vegas... yet. My insurance that I've had the whole time we've lived in Utah is only contracted through Utah doctors... unless it's an emergency situation. So, we're stuck here until these baby girls decide to come out into the world. So, all of our belongings (minus some clothes and some pack n play's... yes, plural. Heaven help me.) are going to Vegas while we head up to Brian Head, Utah a.k.a Seclusion for the remaining months of my pregnancy. Austin's family have a condo up there that we'll stay in until we one day suddenly become a family of 5 (yikes!) and then we'll join our stuff in Las Vegas. As much as I would rather just move to Vegas right now, I am kind of excited to live in the woods. Ha. And here's why:
- Highs in the 70's = heaven for a pregnant woman.
- Plenty of rocks and sticks for Chan to play with.
- Living right above (like seriously right above) my favorite pizza and wings place... although, that won't be good for my weight gain... yolo.
- Saving money on gas... Austin actually works up in Brian Head so it's kind of perfect for that.
- I still get to fulfill my calling in church... holla Relief Society Pres. (Yes, laugh all you want. I love it!)
- Getting to wear my sweats all. day. long. Yes... did I mention my last day at my job is next week?!?
I've been trying to help my mom with my baby shower coming up.
Austin has been trying to work full time and study like a mad man for the CPA exam... he starts his series of exams the beginning of July.
We're trying to get Dip and Dot's essentials slowly but surely... So far they've got cribs and a fancy schmancy double stroller (I mentioned it here, and yes, I'm super stoked about it) and some pillow covers. I know, I know... work in progress.
I booked the twin's newborn pictures with one of my favorite photographers. Eek! I'm so excited about it!
Oh yea, I'm back to blonde? It took ehh... 4 processes? And my hair may be a teensy bit fried... nothing a little deep conditioning can't fix!
And as of right now, our house is trying to recover from a little bit of food poisoning we got (mostly me) over the weekend. Yuck. Note to self: DON'T use bad eggs when making cookies... and then proceed to eat the raw dough (I know, I know) and then eat half the batch of cookies... feed them to your daughter and husband... who eats them the next day too... only to find out two days later that your eggs have been expired for quite some time. Oops. And just FYI, I'm usually really good about checking expiration dates... but apparently not when I really wanted peanut butter cookies like right that instant.
Well, here's to 25 weeks! Only 12-ish more to go, max! Yay!
