busy, busy, busy

I'm sure you all love my bathroom selfies... and my work bathroom. shh. But seriously, it's the only time #1 I'm dressed (sweats don't count) and #2 it's really the only time I think of documenting my growing belly bump.

We've been super busy lately... we're in the process of packing up our whole house to go down to Vegas... only we're not going to Vegas... yet. My insurance that I've had the whole time we've lived in Utah is only contracted through Utah doctors... unless it's an emergency situation. So, we're stuck here until these baby girls decide to come out into the world. So, all of our belongings (minus some clothes and some pack n play's... yes, plural. Heaven help me.) are going to Vegas while we head up to Brian Head, Utah a.k.a Seclusion for the remaining months of my pregnancy. Austin's family have a condo up there that we'll stay in until we one day suddenly become a family of 5 (yikes!) and then we'll join our stuff in Las Vegas. As much as I would rather just move to Vegas right now, I am kind of excited to live in the woods. Ha. And here's why:
  • Highs in the 70's = heaven for a pregnant woman.
  • Plenty of rocks and sticks for Chan to play with.
  • Living right above (like seriously right above) my favorite pizza and wings place... although, that won't be good for my weight gain... yolo.
  • Saving money on gas... Austin actually works up in Brian Head so it's kind of perfect for that.
  • I still get to fulfill my calling in church... holla Relief Society Pres. (Yes, laugh all you want. I love it!)
  • Getting to wear my sweats all. day. long. Yes... did I mention my last day at my job is next week?!?
I've been trying to help my mom with my baby shower coming up.

Austin has been trying to work full time and study like a mad man for the CPA exam... he starts his series of exams the beginning of July.

We're trying to get Dip and Dot's essentials slowly but surely... So far they've got cribs and a fancy schmancy double stroller (I mentioned it here, and yes, I'm super stoked about it)  and some pillow covers. I know, I know... work in progress.

I booked the twin's newborn pictures with one of my favorite photographers. Eek! I'm so excited about it!

Oh yea, I'm back to blonde? It took ehh... 4 processes? And my hair may be a teensy bit fried... nothing a little deep conditioning can't fix!

And as of right now, our house is trying to recover from a little bit of food poisoning we got (mostly me) over the weekend. Yuck. Note to self: DON'T use bad eggs when making cookies... and then proceed to eat the raw dough (I know, I know) and then eat half the batch of cookies... feed them to your daughter and husband... who eats them the next day too... only to find out two days later that your eggs have been expired for quite some time. Oops. And just FYI, I'm usually really good about checking expiration dates... but apparently not when I really wanted peanut butter cookies like right that instant.

Well, here's to 25 weeks! Only 12-ish more to go, max! Yay!

BSB and a baby bump

This past weekend my mother in law, sister in laws, and I all traveled back in time a little and went to the Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas. Yes, you read right. And yes, my 12 year old self was super excited about it. My current pregnant body, not so much... but whatev. We decided to dress up 90's style last second and it was so fun. Crop tops, plaid shirts tied around your waist, twisties in your hair, jean everything... you name it, we wore it. And we rocked out like no ones business the whole time. Such a blast...

And now for my bump update:

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain: 15 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yay for stretchy everything.

Stretch marks? No! I put stretch mark cream/lotion/oil on like a crazy!

Sleep: Do I sleep? yes. Do I sleep well? No.

Best moment this week: One mom came into my work, and after getting over the shock that 1. I'm pregnant again, and 2. I'm having twins... she proceeded to tell me that I still look the same from the back. Well, hey, at least other people think I'm only growing forward and not out... even though I feel different.

Miss Anything? Seeing all these cute clothes for summer make me miss regular clothes... But having these babes is a bigger blessing so I guess I'll skip out on summer wardrobe shopping this year.

Movement: Oh they're kickin'.

Food cravings: SODA. What!? All I want is dang Pepsi all. the. time. But I refrain and substitute with chocolate milk, juice, crystal light, lemonade, water... I'm not a huge fan of water but I force myself to drink it anyway.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Naah.

Gender: Sweet baby girls.

Labor Signs: Nope.

Symptoms: None! My heartburn is all gone thanks to my handy dandy new medicine I just got. Hallelujah!

Belly Button in or out? It's pretty flat.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody? Eh... Just chillin' in the middle.
